About CabJournal

CabJournal is a publication that exists to bring regulatory and cultural change to the trucking industry.

As a regional company driver with 13 years of experience, I’ve noticed many issues that are worth writing about. I believe there is an information gap: we see the problems, but we don’t understand why they exist.

Cameras, corporate policies, pay structures, and driver turnover all have root causes – whether it’s modern lobbying groups or laws crafted in the 1930s.

Why are the highways around our cities lined with lawsuit billboards targeting trucking companies? Why are interstate drivers routinely left unpaid for detention time? Is the driver shortage we all hear about even real?

CabJournal exists to transform these complex topics into compelling, easy-to-read articles with the ultimate goal of bringing real change to the industry.
